27th February - The Little Beggar

The Little Beggar.
We went through the little beggar up to the doctor’s house. We found it hard to show the stairs and the tailor and his wife to walk up the stairs and show. We used sticks to create the banisters, and they would hold on to them and then walked forward. We then moved the sticks down showing they were moving upwards.
I felt I worked well because I came in on my cue and I knew my lines, this made things a lot faster and I was also able to move better and be able to work on my part more. In my scene with Joe (the Little Beggar) we had to do a fighting scene, as I was off script I was able to move more freely. I felt Joe and I worked well because we were both focus. This help a lot because if we messed about someone could get hurt.

  1. Its great that you have identified you strengths in this session. What do think your weaknesses were? What would you do to improve for the next rehearsal? In this section how did you develop your character?
